Ranma's New Clothes(A Ranma 1-2/Urusei Yatsura Fanfic),by Mike Rhea ************************************************************* It was ten o'clock in the morning,and Ranma and Ukyou Saotome both awakened to the sound of an alarm clock.It was an hour until it was time for them to open up their okonomiyaki-ya.It has been 6 months since the 2 longtime best friends wed,and it has been 3 months since they said sayonara to Nerima and moved into a new home in western Kyoto.In addition,it had been a year since they both graduated from Furinkan High School;and 18 months since Ranma moved in with the former Ukyou Kuonji who he had been engaged to since they were both 6 years old. Ranma got out of bed to slip into some clothes.He then opened the clothes drawer to find his usual Chinese outfits all gone,replaced by okonomiyaki seller's outfits that his wife had worn for many years.He turned around and noticed that instead of the breast bindings that she had worn for years,she was wearing a bra and panties. "I hope you don't mind,Ran-chan;but I didn't think you had any use for your old Chinese outfits,nor do I have any use for my chest wrap. So I got rid of both,"said Ukyou. "Ucchan,you shouldn't have!,"replied Ranma,blushing profusely as he admired how beautiful his wife looked. "C'mon,silly.We gotta open up the restaurant soon,"replied Ukyou as she and her husband slipped into identical okonomiyaki seller's outfits and kissed very passionately as they walked downstairs to open up the restaurant. *************************************************************** About 45 minutes later,they opened up the okonomiyaki-ya.It was the middle of June,and it wasn't a surprise that their first customer came in wearing only a swimsuit.The surprising part was that someone was a regular customer who normally wore guy's clothes:Ryuunosuke Fujinami. "Good day,Mr. and Mrs.Saotome,"she greeted. "Good day,Ryuu-chan,"replied Ranma and Ukyou."It's been a while. How are things going?,"continued Ukyou. "My sexist father got drunk and got killed in a car accident.So now I can dress like my true self without fear of criticism.Nagisa Shiowatari has fallen in love with lovers Tsubasa Kurenai and Konatsu Kenzan and has moved in with both of them.Mousse accidentally "defeated" Shampoo while battling Ling-ling and Lung-Lung.Finally, Ryouga Hibiki is now a proud father as both of his concubines,Akane Tendou and Akari Unryuu,recently gave birth to his first children, Kaneda and Yoiko,respectively.BTW,Saotome-kun,are you still mad at "P-chan" for stealing Akane away from you?,"said Ryuu. "Not really,"replied Ranma."That uncute tomboy had known all along that Ryouga and P-chan are one and the same,but wouldn't admit it because he truly loved him,not me.Besides,my wife truly loves me,and I love her back.Besides,you look good in that swimsuit,though my wife is more beautiful." "Thank you,Saotome-kun.BTW,when did you and your wife start wearing the same wardrobe?" "Actually,Ran-chan and I recently discarded old clothing that we had no use for anymore,"replied Ukyou."I replaced my chest-wrap with bras." "You're not alone in discarding your chest-wrap,Saotome-san,"replied Ryuu."BTW,make it a seafood combo." "It'll be ready in a few minutes,Ryuu-chan,"said Ukyou as Ranma prepared Ryuu's seafood okonomiyaki.While the okonomiyaki was cooking, Ranma and Ukyou stared at the former cross-dresser that reminded them of each other,and kissed rather passionately.A couple minutes later, the okonomiyaki was done;and Ranma and Ukyou Saotome continued to converse with Ryuunosuke,as she would be that day's only customer for at least another half-hour,when the scion of the richest family in the planet landed one of his heavy bombers in front of the Saotome okonomiyaki-ya.
